When I first arrived home to Tasmania, after nearly 30 years away, I wasn’t broken but life had certainly bruised me.
Head down. One foot in front of the other. Quietly rebuilding, trusting that time, belief and effort would do their thing.
Fast forward to now and my head is up, smiling from ear to ear, hair finally grown (it was a mini goal) and heart wide open.
Surrounded by a loving family, the most beautiful friends and an inspiring and caring community, from my business success mentor Rachael Downie, to the incredible women of Women Chiefs of Enterprises International (Australia) and Women's Network Australia, the karate community, my guys at Grow A Small Business and my gorgeous clients who show me everyday just how very lucky I am.
Grateful. Grounded. Resilient.
If you’re in your own head down chapter, one foot in front of the other, please remember this:
🧡 Get honest about where you’re at and ask for help.
🧡 Listen to what your heart is trying to tell you and ask for help.
🧡 Act on the small things that build momentum and ask for help.
🧡 Cherish you and do the work for you, only you and ask for help.
Keep going. You’re closer than you think. Promise.
