Jones & Sons ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

This policy governs all AI use (Predictive, Generative, Agentic) by Jones & Sons. Compliance is mandatory. This policy is grounded in the Australian AI Ethics Principles, prioritising client trust, privacy and accountability.

2. Core Ethical Mandates (The 'Musts')

At Jones & Sons we leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for enhanced creativity, efficiency and accuracy. Our use of predictive, generative, and agentic AI is strictly governed by the Australian AI Ethics Principles, ensuring that technology serves our clients responsibly and ethically.

Data Privacy & Security: We do not use client or confidential information in public or free-tier AI models. All data processing strictly adheres to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), ensuring your data remains secure and private.

Fairness & Bias Mitigation: We actively review all AI outputs for bias, ensuring our strategic recommendations and content are non-discriminatory, fair, and inclusive across all demographics.

Human Oversight & Judgment: AI is a tool to augment our expertise, not replace it. We maintain clear human oversight with the ability to override or stop any AI action. Human judgment is always the final decision-maker.

Transparency: We are transparent about how and when AI substantially contributes to your deliverables. We ensure customers are informed when interacting with an automated agent.

Accountability & Reliability: Every AI-generated output, from strategy drafts to marketing copy is rigorously fact-checked, edited and approved by a human expert. We remain fully accountable for all results.

3. Operational Guidelines (How We Use AI)

 

3.1 Content Integrity (Generative AI)

​

  1. Verification: Never use AI content without human editing and factual verification. Assume all initial AI outputs contain errors or "hallucinations."

  2. Copyright: Check tool terms of service. Do not use AI outputs if there is any doubt about potential third-party copyright infringement.

  3. Branding: AI output must be adjusted to align perfectly with the client's established brand voice and ethical guidelines.

3.2 Risk Management (Predictive & Agentic AI)

​

  1. High-Risk Review: AI applications involved in financial decisions, large-scale data segmentation, or sensitive legal/contractual drafts are considered High-Risk. These require mandatory double human review and explicit client consent before deployment.

  2. Error Reporting: Any observed unreliable, unfair, or potentially harmful AI behaviour must be immediately reported to Amanda Jones, Founder, Jones & Sons.

4. Governance and Enforcement

​

  • Policy Authority: Amanda Jones, Founder, Jones & Sons is the designated AI Policy Lead, responsible for policy interpretation, incident review and technology approval.

  • Review: This policy will be reviewed and updated every 12 months or immediately upon the adoption of any new, major AI platform.
